These two dogs in a hot air balloon are hand-carved from Albesia wood, by one of our Fair-Trade partners in Bali. Albesia is one of the fastest growing trees in the world and therefore is a perfect sustainable material - in some countries, it is even considered an invasive species, and having an incentive to cut back the trees is great for sustaining the local ecosystem.
